Robert McGilivary is the Operations Manager for Cirrus Wind and joined Cirrus in July 2024.
Roberts 17 years industry experience started with him working as a technician with Siemens before becoming a site supervisor, then hub supervisor before moving to DWT where he was Operations manager then Technical Support Manager.
He has also held roles within Scottish Power, Enercon and now Cirrus Wind. Over his time within the industry, he has been responsible for servicing, site repairs, safe operation of the wind turbines and implementation of safety rules over many sites and areas.
He’s no stranger to leading a team in the field and passes on his knowledge and experience working with his colleagues and teams, making them a highly skilled work force.
Pamela Watsons role in the office is a varied one, from organizing fleet , to ordering service parts, to booking training for the team. With a determination to succeed and an eye for detail, she manages all the business admin needs and organizes the work schedules for the team. Always willing to expand her knowledge, gained over many years in different roles, she is keen to speak to clients at every opportunity.

Our field staff are accredited to all the GWO standards and WTSR Level One to ensure a safe level of work, several technicians hold Authorised Technician status on various brands.
Previous involvement with industry leading brands such as Vestas, Nordex and Siemens and experience within the electrical and renewable energy industry means they can draw on their skills to provide expert work.
Our team has vast experience in servicing wind turbines, major component changes and fault finding, working well to put all their experiences together to work with confidence. They are always looking to update their skills base and knowledge engaging in training courses and industry development.
