We have operated, maintained and managed numerous wind projects, some of which were installed as early as 1994. Our industry experience enables us to develop optimal maintenance schedules for you that maximize availability and reduce scheduled maintenance during peak wind periods, also deploying our teams for unscheduled maintenance when required.
After finding a gap in the market for a specialist Operation’s and Maintenance business within the wind industry, Scott and Charlotte started Cirrus Wind Services in 2013.
Scott’s 20 years industry experience started with him working as a technician for Vestas before becoming a senior technician with Nordex, then onto site manager for various wind farms around the country. Over this time, he has been responsible for commissioning, erecting, upgrades, servicing, site repairs, safe operation of the wind turbines and implementation of safety rules. He’s no stranger to leading a team in the field and passes on his knowledge and experience working along side his team, making them a highly skilled work force.
His knowledge and experience are ever expanding through his hands-on approach and openness to use new and pioneering systems.
Charlotte’s role in the office is a varied one, from inspecting PPE to remotely checking turbines several times a day. With a determination to succeed and eye for detail she manages all the business’s admin needs and organises the work schedule for the team. Always willing to expand her knowledge she’s keen to visit sites and clients at every opportunity.
Here at Cirrus we’re a close-knit team coming from different working backgrounds and experiences equating in a well-rounded and highly skilled work force.
Our field staff are accredited to all the GWO standards and WTSR Level One to ensure a safe level of work, several technicians hold Authorised Technician status on various brands.
Previous involvement with industry leading brands such as Vestas, Nordex and Siemens and experience within the electrical and renewable energy industry means they can draw on their skills to provide expert work.
Our team has vast experience in servicing wind turbines, major component changes and fault finding, working well to put all their experiences together to work with confidence. They are always looking to update their skills base and knowledge engaging in training courses and industry development.
